2026 Albury Wodonga Junior Senior Open Review

The 2026 Albury/Wodonga Junior/Senior Open took place over the weekend with the Seniors hitting on Saturday and the Juniors hitting the tables on the Sunday.
With 76 players throughout the weekend, there were some very close battles across the various events making it a fantastic weekend of competition.
Albury Wodonga Table Tennis Association President Terry Caldwell shared his thoughts about the tournament stating “the numbers were low for this year, but there was still very competitive Table Tennis played, and the forty-four Juniors made enough noise for a hundred and forty-four!”
“The event was well-run by Greg Bristowe and he managed to organise decent prizemoney despite the low numbers, and the club managed a little better than break-even. We hope we can double these numbers in 2027” added Caldwell.
