Strategic Plan
The Table Tennis Victoria Strategic Plan for 2024 builds on the plan established in 2023. This period continues to be an important and challenging time for our community as we build back after COVID-19 and accept that Victoria is no longer planning to host a regional Commonwealth Games in 2026.
TTV continues to recognise that the sport ecosystem requires a streamlined, agile and focused approach that responds to enhanced industry requirements and supports traditional, new and emerging participation trends. Leadership and personnel changes across the sport will provide opportunities to capitalise on new ideas and shape the sport’s long-term future.
Our 2024 Strategic Plan will seek to position table tennis to take advantage of involvement in the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics. With appropriate strategies in place, this can lead to commercial opportunities, increased profile for the sport, investment, and generations of Victorians inspired to participate.
The Table Tennis Victoria Strategic Plan for 2023 will seek to put foundations in place that position table tennis to capitalise on the wonderful opportunity of a home Commonwealth Games in Regional Victoria in 2026.
Central to this Strategic Plan is our commitment to support members (affiliated clubs and associations) and the people of table tennis. We thank everyone who participated in affiliate forums and member surveys to help us shape this plan.
This Strategic Plan will guide TTV’s operational goals for 2023 and subsequently inform medium term direction. We look forward to working with our community to bring this plan to life and build on it into the future. We are hopeful of being able to make an editable version of this plan available to our affiliates so it can be used as a template for your own plan.
