The Traralgon Table Tennis community came together for a festive day of competition on Saturday, November 22nd, as the annual ‘Jingle Pong’ Junior/Senior Open delivered another memorable edition. With more than 90 competitors filling the Traralgon stadium, the event showcased a bustling atmosphere, quality match play, and fantastic sportsmanship across all age groups.

The tournament featured a full day of action, with athletes from across Victoria taking part in a packed schedule of junior and senior events. Competitive spirit was high, but equally matched by the friendly and welcoming culture that has become a hallmark of the Traralgon Table Tennis Association’s events.

TTTA President Mark Strini praised the success of the tournament, sharing:

“Jingle Pong 3 proved to be a wonderful event for the Traralgon Table Tennis Association with some 90+ entrants creating a hive of activity at the Traralgon stadium with some fantastic Table Tennis on display throughout the day, that was played in both great competitiveness, and equally, great spirit."

"A quick thank you to the TTTA Committee and Volunteers who maintained the stadium and amenities all day, the Referees who worked tirelessly all day, and of course, Claire who ran the show for us as usual - and thanks to all the players, who make the day a special event."

"We're already looking forward to JP4" added Strini.

The dedication of the TTTA committee, volunteers and officials ensured that matches ran smoothly and the venue was kept in excellent condition throughout the day. Their teamwork contributed greatly to the event’s warm atmosphere and overall success.

As the 2026 season approaches, the TTTA is already gearing up for an even bigger and better Jingle Pong 4, with players and supporters excited to return for another festive celebration of table tennis late next year.
