Played table tennis in the Victorian Table Tennis Association (VTTA) from 1960 to 1985, playing in A3 & A2 with several Spring A1 Grade seasons.
Competed in A Grade in Western Suburbs, North Western, and Northern Districts.
Moved to the Geelong area in 1985, then played in the Geelong A Grade pennant competition for many years.

Established Kingsville Table Tennis Club 1958 (Secretary)
Affiliated Kingsville with Western Suburbs Table Tennis Association (WSTTA) and went on to become a Committee Member and later President of WSTTA in the 1960s
Established Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Table Tennis Club 1959 and affiliated it with Overseas Malaysian Students Association (OMSA) (fielding 15 teams combined)
Involved in the establishment of the North Western Table Tennis Association (NWTTA) with Ron Neville and as a Board member in the 1960’s
Committee of Geelong Table Tennis Association from the early 1990s until 2015 including terms as Vice President and President
Board member of Table Tennis Victoria (TTV) from 1993 – 2017 including terms as Director of Coaching and State Selector
National Selector with Paul Pinkewich and Mary Le Gassick for Table Tennis Australia

Honorary Interim CEO of Table Tennis Australia 1999-2001.
Secretary-General for Table Tennis for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Negotiating with multiple bodies including the Australian Olympic Committee, the Federal Government, and the Australian Institute of Sport. After the Olympics, organising travel arrangements and negotiating for teams to participate in the 2001 Commonwealth Championships in New Delhi and World Championships in Osaka.
