Physical & Disability Participation Program at The Hangar

 

 

For Para players seeking some higher level coaching. There is a fantastic program that TTV is proud and excited to be a part of held on Sunday's at The Hangar in Tullamarine, the program is run by Mick Tomlinson, a former para player and now coach, Mick has years of experience coaching and training some of Australia's best para-table tennis players and has a great relationship Alois Rosario, Table Tennis Australia's National Coach.

The para participation program at The Hangar is open to all para players, regardless of ability or classification. Whether you are Dani Di Toro training for the Paralympics or someone giving para table tennis a go for the first time, it’s an all-inclusive program that welcomes anyone.

“We have many different players of various abilities and classifications - some have intellectual disabilities, and some have physical disabilities, anyone is welcome."

“We have Dani Di Toro who is a class 4, another class 5 player in a wheelchair, there are two new guys coming up from Dandenong every Sunday. Anyone that wants to give it a try can come down get some help with everything from basics, training to learn how to get classified”
