Table Tennis Victoria are looking for expressions of interests to take part in our future coaching and official courses to see more qualified members in the Sport!

Becoming a registered Coach or Official with TTV provides many opportunities for our Members to get involved in a number of aspects at TTV, and can provide further opportunities at higher levels.

Table Tennis Australia is affiliated with the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) which is run by the Australian Sports Commission. The NCAS ensures that all Coaches receive appropriate training and accreditation.

In order to be recognised by the NCAS, TTA and/or your local State / Territory Association all coaches must complete the appropriate NCAS course and the accompanying paperwork.

TOPS courses are run on one day, and provide the basic necessities to get involved in coaching Table Tennis, from here, it is possible to move onto Level 1 qualifications!

An Official has the authority to administer the rules of Table Tennis.

There are many levels at which an Official may have the opportunity to be involved in Table Tennis competitions. These can range from Club Competitions to Olympic & Paralympic Games.

Officials in Table Tennis are divided into two categories Umpires and Referees. Umpires control a match, whilst Referees control a tournament.

Table Tennis Australia is affiliated with the National Officiating Accreditation Scheme (NOAS) which is run by the Australian Sports Commission. The NOAS oversees the Code of Behaviour of all Officials and ensures that Officials receive appropriate training and accreditation.

In order to be recognised by the NOAS, ITTF, TTA and your State / Territory or Club; all Officials must complete the appropriate accreditation course.
