From this year, the TTV Annual Awards will align with the new Table Tennis Australia National Awards framework. This means that winners in key categories – including Volunteer of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Official of the Year – will not only be celebrated in Victoria but will also progress as finalists for the prestigious TTA National Awards. 

To support this alignment, the awards timeline has been brought forward. Nominations will open earlier, with winners announced at the Annual Awards Function now held on Thursday 11 December 2025. This process ensures our state winners seamlessly transition into the national process, giving them the opportunity to be recognised nation-wide. 

Importantly, while these changes create a pathway to the national stage, TTV remains committed to celebrating the outstanding contributions of our broader community. Categories such as Senior Player, Junior Player, Para Player, Veterans, Affiliate of the Year, Years of Service Awards, and the President’s Award for Distinguished Service will continue to shine a spotlight on the achievements of our players, volunteers, officials, and long-serving members here in Victoria. 

This change represents a significant step forward in celebrating the talent, dedication, and passion within our sport. By connecting our state awards to the national framework, we are giving our community a bigger stage and greater visibility than ever before. 

Nominations Open 1–14 October 2025 – We encourage all clubs, players, and members of the table tennis community to get involved by nominating those who make an outstanding contribution to our sport.
