Table Tennis Victoria is excited to announce that the 2026 State Tournament Circuit Calendar is now live!
You can explore the full schedule here: View the 2026 Tournament Calendar
Next year’s calendar is packed with opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels, with several key updates and fresh additions that promise an exciting year ahead.
Calendar Highlights:
-
A massive week of table tennis in April- featuring the Victorian Open, Hopes, and a TTA Tour event in Traralgon. This will be one of the biggest weeks of table tennis on the 2026 calendar and a must-attend for players and fans alike.
-
The Shepparton Veterans event moves earlier in the year, giving our veteran players a great start to the season.
-
The Dandenong Veterans make a welcome return to the tournament circuit - a fantastic addition to the veteran community calendar.
Calendar Adjustments
Please note that some events and selection periods have been adjusted due to the National Championships being split across three dates in 2026. These changes aim to ensure a balanced and fair competition pathway for all players across age groups.
Junior Pathways and U19 Transition
From 2026, the Under 19 age group will move from Junior to Senior tournaments.
This means players wanting to compete in both Junior Nationals (U17 and below) and U19 events will need to plan carefully to be available for both National Championships.
To stay eligible for Junior Nationals selection, we encourage all players to:
-
Enter the Traralgon tournament in November
-
Continue competing in events that align with their actual age group
This will help ensure players meet qualification requirements and maintain competitive readiness at every level.
Exemption Process for International Representation
Victorian players representing Australia or training overseas are reminded of the exemption process outlined in By-law 10.
If you are unable to attend state events due to approved international commitments, please apply for an exemption early by contacting ttvselectors@gmail.com. Early communication helps selectors maintain fairness and consistency in the State Team selection process.
We’re looking forward to another big year of competition, growth, and community across Victoria.Thank you to all our clubs, volunteers, officials, and players for your continued support - 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting seasons yet!
