2026 Deniliquin Veterans Open Review

The 2026 Deniliquin Veterans Open was held across Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September at the Deniliquin Sports Stadium, with players travelling from across multiple states for two days of Veterans competition.
Deniliquin Club Representative Judy James shared her thoughts on the tournament stating that “with 90 competitors from ACT, NSW, QLD and VIC, spectators and players alike enjoyed some excellent table tennis matches.”
“For players it was a great lead up to the Vets Nationals and an opportunity to gain additional points.”
“The tournament had a friendly country atmosphere along with a strong competitive spirit with the camaraderie continuing with players attending dinner on Saturday night.”
“Players are already looking forward to next year’s tournament” added James.
The tournament once again highlighted the camaraderie within the Veterans table tennis community and the ongoing support for regional tournaments.
