2025 S-Trend Victorian Closed Veterans Review

The 2025 S-Trend Victorian Closed Veterans Championships brought together the state’s most passionate and experienced table tennis players for a full day of spirited competition at MSAC on Sunday 27th July.
With players ranging from over 30s through to over 80s, the event showcased the incredible longevity and dedication of Victoria’s veteran table tennis community. From tactical rallies to lightning-quick reflexes, spectators were treated to high-quality matches and great sportsmanship across all age groups.
The tournament featured a strong lineup of events, including singles and doubles across multiple age categories. Standout performances included some closely fought finals that demonstrated both the competitive edge and camaraderie that defines veterans table tennis.
TTV Events, Operations & Membership Lead Oscar Yam was in attendance at the tournament stating “The 2025 Victorian Closed Veterans Championships were a great success, with over 150 participants taking part.”
“It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and to see so many new players joining the event, reflecting the continued growth of our tournaments” added Yam.
