2025 Albury Wodonga Veterans Open Review

The final State Tournament Circuit event for 2025 is officially in the books, with the completion of the 2025 Albury Wodonga Veterans Open taking place over the weekend from November 29-30.
With 94 entries, it was a jam-packed weekend of action across numerous age groups and events.
AWTTA President Terry Caldwell shared his thoughts about the fantastic event stating“entries were up 16% on last year, with plenty of fresh faces featuring among the winners and runners-up.”
“The cool weather and even the occasional rain only added to the atmosphere.”
“Tournament Directors Greg Bristowe and Claire Montgomery were outstanding in keeping the schedule running smoothly, wrapping up play before 5:30pm on Sunday. Our referees went about their work quietly and efficiently, ensuring the spotlight remained firmly on the players, who displayed terrific sportsmanship and camaraderie throughout the event.”
“A heartfelt thank you also goes to the many AWTTA volunteers whose efforts ensured all visitors were exceptionally well looked after.”
