The annual Spur Afrika Charity Tournament will be held at Kilsyth Stadium on Sunday the 21st of January 2024. The Spur Afrika tournament has been organised by the Balwyn United Table Tennis Club every year since 2014 with Croydon's Greg Bristowe and Balwyn United's Felix Kung organising the tournament.

Spur Afrika is a locally run Kenyan charity that equips children and young adults in Kenya's Kibera slum through school scholarships, career training and mentorships. They also play a role in school programs, medical clinics, research and development and community leaders training.
