Dear All,

As you are aware, the 2019 TTV AGM was originally due to be held on 21 March 2020 at the VIEW Hotel in St Kilda Rd, to be followed by the Annual Awards Dinner.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic situation required us to cancel the awards function, and postpone the AGM.

Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) have recognised the obstacles faced by incorporated associations (such as TTV) in complying with the normal requirement to hold their AGM’s within 5 months of the end of their respective financial years.

Accordingly, CAV have allowed organizations to seek additional time to comply with their administrative requirements.

The Board of TTV are very keen to conduct the AGM in person if possible, as they recognize the importance of open discussions and dissemination of information.

With this in mind, they have chosen a provisional date of Saturday 11 July 2020 to hold the rescheduled 2019 TTV AGM.

Details including exact timing, location and format will be provided as soon as possible, but no later than the 30 day timeframe contained within the TTV Constitution, being 9 June 2020.

Rest assured that TTV is doing everything possible through liaison with key stakeholders including the State Sports Centres Trust, Sport and Recreation Victoria and Vic Sport to ensure that our Affiliates and Individual Members are able to return to the table at the first safe opportunity. We will continue to share updates as they are provided to us.
