Table Tennis Victoria is excited to bring the BaTT Girls program to Sunbury this June, continuing its mission to inspire more women and girls to get involved in table tennis across Victoria.
The upcoming session will take place on Sunday 14 June from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at the Sunbury Recreation Reserve Stadium on Riddell Road, located between the grandstand and netball courts.
BaTT Girls is designed to create a welcoming, social and supportive environment for women and girls of all ages and abilities. Whether participants are picking up a bat for the first time, returning to the sport after a break, or already playing regularly, the program offers a fun and inclusive opportunity to connect through table tennis.
As part of Table Tennis Victoria’s commitment to growing female participation in the sport, BaTT Girls also aims to strengthen and celebrate the existing women’s table tennis community across the state.
Each session includes:
- A warm welcome and introduction
- Team-based singles and doubles competition
- Casual social play with a variety of partners
- Coaching tips for beginners and developing players
- Opportunities to provide feedback and help shape future sessions
