The 2023 Croydon Masters Junior, Senior, Veterans Open is taking place this weekend from March 9th - March 11th and it is set to be a great weekend for all in attendance.

The competition will see the Veterans hit the tables on Saturday March 9th, followed by the Juniors on Sunday March 10th and concluding with the Seniors on Monday March 11th (Labour Day).

Croydon Board member and Tournament Director,  Greg Bristowe, is looking forward to another big weekend of table tennis with almost 400 entrants over 3 days.

"We’re excited to be crowning a new men’s singles champion as unfortunately Sanish was a late withdrawal due to injury - he was heading towards his fourth consecutive CMO title."

"A new women’s champion is on the cards as well, with Sanaya and Cherry being the top 2 seeds."

Important Notice: 

As you probably are aware, this weekend will be very hot. We ask that you take care of yourself and keep hydrated throughout the day.

We are suggesting that only those that are playing should come on this day, though this may not be practical for your personal circumstances.

We are looking to set up the PA System so that it will also operate in the main foyer area, and we are asking players when not involved in a match as either a player or umpire to sit in the foyer, which does have some air conditioning, so we hope it will be somewhat cooler.

We will also be getting bottles of water that will be stored in our two fridges for players to use when needed. The fridges are located upstairs in the main hall, and the other fridge is in our meeting room which is just outside the glass doors of the 10 court hall. We just ask that when you take a bottle, to replace it with a warm one and place the warm bottle to the back of fridge.

There are also water fountains in both our halls, in the main hall, its next to court 22 (near the female toilets). In the small hall, its near court 1. There is also a water station next to the basketball kiosk.
